RE: Network CD ROM



Probably at a tangent, and maybe not what you want) but what about a small
pc, and a huge hard drive or 3 and copying images of the discs onto that.

Would be an easy way of putting it in a small box.

Does anybody know of a company doing CDROM or CDRW drives that can be
hooked up to the LAN directly i.e no host computer??

My other option is to try and get a motherboard and two drives into
an external drive case

Any thoughts on the feasability of this?
