Huh,
I just started this thread with a simple question and had fun for a
couple
of days.
Now I
thank you all, I've got all the pros and cons.
But of
course, I still have a question:
Does
anyone from ViaProject finished their box and built a
PC?
If
yes, can they try to instal ShowShifter before they start installing their
stuff
and let me know how it's running, what's the quality
like?
I
am
even thinking, why someone doesn't start a business there. Find, or make a
nice
looking case, install PC based on ViaBoard, install ShowShifter and
DigiGuide
and sell the thing. ShowShifter will be happy, DigiGuide will be happy,
you'll
be happy.
You
can even sell in kit for technically minded people to reduce the cost. Give
CD
with self-installing GHOST or similar image and that's
it.
