Well, there is more to go with that system.  Basically, it means no
redundancy.  If your MP3 player stops working, so does your DVD, CD, SS,
etc.  It's an important point considering how reliable PCs are today.  Again
a reason why it's the techie's choice.

Well, there are no more moving parts for running just SS than there are for
doing anything with a PC.  It's just disc drives and fans.  It's the
software that's generally buggy, although HDDs die regularly.

Point taken, and I agree totally.

Agreed, but it is the only single-box solution at this point in time.
