I don't think it's insulting at all but I have learned a very valuable
lesson in life from using PC's and working with many a mechanical
device, as well as having an analytical engineering mind is that when
you ask a machine to do multiple tasks then there is simply more to go
wrong! Add to that the extra usage and wear and tear on the mechanicals
of the device and you, generally, have a recipe for disaster. Now think
how many sub-systems rely on that one item and you get my point, instead
of one item being out of commission, several are!

TBH Andy, I use my PC's for a variety of things and I don't have a
problem with that at all in the main and the best of luck to those who
do use them for the likes of video editing or whatever, personally I
don't think that the Windows OS is best suited to that task particularly
where you have to run other apps alongside it.
