Hmmmm... yes I've looked at the Clipsal and it looks very good. Also
integrates with the Comfort system now as well so I understand.

Anyone out there got any experience of the Comfort units? It appears
less customisable than the Homevsion unit but looks quite robust, its a
shame though the control panels/key pads are so darn ugly, surely they
could develop a standard 1 or 2 gang surface mount product?

I think Ken was referring to Tim Morris. He's been looking at the
Clipsal
system (amongst others) - very nice. Basically this is Cat5 to all
switches
and the lighting (mains) circuits home-run to the Clipsal
"panel".

If you can afford it hard wired is better, talk to Tim as he did a lot
of research on this just recently.
