RE: Re: Enough!

Oh alright then Mark!

I didn't think it was that bad - apart from the odd dig at one or two of you
for prevaricating on whether or not to buy, the main discussions have been a
subjective assessment of the Rio vs the Audiotron from a sound quality point
of view, a discussion of quality vs cost tradeoffs, (which granted id
provoke some controversy), the more recent posts were about use or otherwise
of the optical out on the Audiotron for better quality - I don't think
that's a pointless discussion, or one that would give n00bs a bad impression
of the group.
Indeed, I have accumulated several more purchasers since beginning the AvsR
topic in the group, so it has in fact achieved something worthwhile.

Fine.  No more discussing the merits or otherwise of the Audiotron or the
Rio.
BUT, I may have to post updates on the buy here because the HABUY list may
go down in flames as Dr. John upgrades/trashes his system and I may need to
update the buyers during the down period.

Nuff said, lets just drop it before it becomes another pointless
you-know-who style shouting match.
