hehehehehehehehe....... you're over complicating it by using powertoy....

Hmmmmm...... under v5 it was easy peasy, can't find the same setting 
under v6

Under v5, you add a reminder, go into edit reminders, select that one, 
choose what you want (I used to use spoken 2 mins before) and click Set
Default. After that, all new reminders default to that...... I've had a
quick poke under v6 and can't find it, and because its beta, the help 
system doesn't work......!
