Jerome
I'm sure it could
But TiVo is best left to record TV programmes

It works very well at doing that
BUT as a straight Video record it isn't so good

Lets say you did put your security camera on a recognised RF channel in your
area
And lets assume you work out the logic to trigger record on the TiVo when
the doorbell is pressed
If you are already recording something the first thing it will ask you is
"do you want to change channel", NOT record

To record security cameras buy a cheap capture board and let TiVo look after
your TV schedule and viewing

All this talk of Tivo has got me pretty much buying one tomorrow, providing
it won't kill my ADSL like it seems to be doing to some people.  Next
question is:

Is anyone using it to record, say, a security camera after a doorbell event?
Can this be done with IR and the signal going in the RF input?

Cheers,
