Ian,

Disassembled a unit last night but did not have much time to research the
innards but me thinks (as you) this should be pretty easy.  I saw some stuff
>from appropriate inputs on the uProcessor high.  Not sure yet if this is the case
with these mini-timers but again how else could you do this, only so many ways
to de-fur a feline.  I'll do some more playing around this weekend with a few
switches and see what I can come up with.  Would be really handy if all 16 unit
codes can be made available as this would give me a total of 48 inputs.

My plan is to hack these up and use them with home brew touch switches to
replace existing light switches, door bells etc.

I'll let you know what I find.

Mark
p.s.  forgot to take a note of the numbers on the micro but I'll do that this
weekend and post.

Should be a piece of cake using a PIC to give you 8 buttons to press and
interpret to 4 + 1 to the mini timer. No idea which PIC as this will be
dictated by the number of inputs/outputs needed. Have to take a timer to
bits to tell. Could be interesting as I have this need at home as well.

How serious as you about this and is anyone else interested?
