Switch Mod to Mini Timer

Chaps,

Anyone come up with a way of making all 8 possible switches available
without
having to use the 1-4/5-8 slider ?  Thought that maybe some sort of
double
switch assy but think timing might be an issue.

home brew touch switches to replace existing light switches.  Must confess
have
not yet disassembled yet but hoping for some direction.
