Ken,

I was planning to stay in a hotel.  Was wondering whether (If we get
the
numbers) we could do a Bulk Buy on rooms and perhaps the hotel would throw
in a
room that we could use.  I do not know Glasgow that well so would be
open to
suggestions for a hotel.

Okay, after spending over an hour on the phone this morning finding a
pub that can accommodate a small meeting seems nigh on impossible in
Glasgow...anyone got any suggestions? I was trying to find something in
the city centre similar to the London meet where we can have access to
a
bar, most important ;), food better than peanuts and crisps and
hopefully somewhere we can perhaps demo some kit.

Oh, and it looks as if we're going to have the honour of K.C. Li from
Laser here too and, if our beloved leader can scrape up the cash for an
Easyjet flight, he may appear too.

BTW, numbers, can everyone that wants to attend confirm it ASAP, ta.

Date is Saturday 24th August for those that missed the mails.
