I mesured, my flat and I found that I'll need 80m only (with 1m extra on each side). Therefore I went for slightly more expensive from Richer sounds. Here they charge delivery £9.5, while at RS is free.
So I went for 105 strand, 80m=£55.
I am closing this thread then and I'll concentrate on microphones, PIRs etc.
Cheers,
Nik

79 strand is ok, not sure why but my 79-stand (QUDOS) going to me rear speakers have a similar jacket and I get amazing sound from them.

Kind Regards,

Just before I click on "buy", can someone confirm that this 79 strand is O.K?

And why clear housing is more expensive than black? Where's the catch? Which housing is better?

Cheers,

Nik

And I live in a flat, not in a house. And I have concrete ceiling in most of the rooms, so no drilling possible.

It seems that I'll definitly go for a single cable.

I found this one as the cheapest at Richer Sounds:

Gale XL 105

.69

It seems that this is 105 strand. Is this still a bit OTT?

Nik

Yes - I had all this + loads of CAT5, power for all lighting going
to loft to LD11's (over 40). I had to drill 7 new access holes
through each of the many joists in the main run (upstairs landing
running across the house) with a 35mm Auger bit. That's a lot of
work and a lot of pulling cables.
