Thanks
- I will give it a try...
But
another issue - if you can help ??
I
also
need to get it talk to my 3com WiFi kit. I have a spare 3com pcmcia
wireless
card (3CRSHPW196 -what a mouth-full for model no.!!) but it won't fit in
the
slot - I mean I can not get it into the slot. I know the slot is OK because
the
pcmcia cd rom fits fine.
Any
ideas which makes/models of wireless nw cards fit the 510
?
BTW
the 3com access points (2000) are very small and fit well around the house
and I
only got round to using them today (typing this from a laptop in the
bedroom -
no wires!! :-) Everything worked right out of the box (have to disable
firewall
in connection in windows) but I can now surf and email and get to my office
network / exchange server (though no ADSL internet access while on the
office network via VPN). Now if only I could the Fuji going on WiFi then I
get
to control Homeseer and pick playlists / tracks form CDJ form anywhere in
the
house.
Any
ideas?
KR
I found the easiest way was to use a CF
card
(128 or 256MB) in a PCMCIA adapter - very easy and it recognised it
straight away with no drivers to install. Of course, you'll need a
laptop
to put the files onto the CF card in the first place - or buy a USB
CF/SmartMedia/SD adapter (£40-50 at scan) - a great bit of
kit.
