The NTL one was free (part of the broadband deal), it just sits there doing very little. I remember seeing the BT Diverse 2-line some time ago - '99 and thought WANT ONE. But BT have discontinued them. The 2-line is not the same as the ISDN version it just supports 2 PSTN lines.

I can't cancel the BT one cause a. everyone knows it and b. NTL can't do caller ID and I have about 400 quids worth of caller ID kit (meteor, TV display, way2go thingi)

Do you HAVE to have both numbers? If not disconnect one, and convert the other to ISDN. If you do then you’re stuffed J
