SDS Drills
Following from the discussions over the past few days about SDS drills
& the
bargain one at Argos, I decided I needed one as there are a number of
sockets still not quite finished around the house due to the crappiness
of
the job of drilling and chiselling out bricks.
Ebay was doing it's stoopid update thing this morning (why not do it at
4am
or something?) so I couldn't look there and, impatient as ever, went
ahead
and ordered the argos jobbie plus the box cutter from one of Mr
Harrison's
favourite suppliers :)
Anyway, ebay is back up and there seems to be a lot of bargain SDS
drills
out there like:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2038501804
around 40 quid seems to be the going rate. Dunno how good they are,
but
they can't be any worse than the argos one.... and a darn sight cheaper
than
the place I bought the box cutter from (which costs more than the
bloody
drill!!)
Damn, should have waited a few hours.
Tony
