Tim,

I've got the Navman 3000 http://www.navman-mobile.com/html/3000.htm
and I'm pleased with it.

I have taken the following from the Navman website.

Q. What are the differences between Compaq's iPAQ Navigation System
and the Navman GPS 3000?

A. The hardware is the same. The differences are between the Co-Pilot
(iPAQ Navigation System) and the SmartPath City / Trip (Navman GPS
3000) software:

Co-Pilot has voice Navigation
Co-Pilot has door to door and Postal Code navigation
Co-Pilot supports dynamic route recalculation
Co-Pilot only covers UK
iPAQ Navigation System costs around =A3600

SmartPath City / Trip does not have voice navigation
SmartPath City / Trip does not have door to door and Postal Code
navigation
SmartPath City / Trip does not have dynamic route re-calculation.
SmartPath City / Trip covers all of Europe
Navman GPS 3000 costs around =A3250

Navman has an upgrade due for release in June/July 2002 that covers
door to door, voice navigation and dynamic route recalculation for
all of Europe. This will cost around =A3150 as an upgrade to existing
users, or =A3400 bundled with the gps receiver.

Regards,
Darren
