I had the same issue, you need to have the virtual keyboard open,
make sure the cursor is in the password box, then press the pen in
the password box and hold for about 3 seconds, then drag that to the
data window of the virtual keyboard, then type and it should appear
in the password box.

Thats all from memory so it could be a little out, I will have my 520
with me tomorrow as I am testing it with the 3com wifi stuff. So if
it does not work let me know and I can try it.
