I think you want fdisk /mbr

Apologies for the off topic post.. to cut a long story short,

 

I have a 20gb disk, that HAD linux installed on it, so I deleted all the partitions (using fdisk)

 

Re-created a big fat32 partition, and when I boot the pc, I get a ‘grub’ screen…. And the curser just flashes at me (I can boot off of a cd / disk)

 

I need to do this ASAP …. A user brought in his home pc (as they do) (with a dead hd) so I found my old 20gb to give (read: sell) to him

 

Any help would be most appreciated
