Seeing as you are in spendy mode, have
a
look at the KEF Ci range. They need around 100mm deep holes cut into the
wall,
but they aren’t cheap. The top of the range Reference 2000s come in
at
800 quid each, but there are lesser members in the range. I’ve just
ordered a couple as they are tonally matched to my front
speakers.

Would these be good for surround speakers in a
5.1
setup? I currently
have B&W 601s at the back on the 'group
standard' atacama 1 metre
stands. Even I have to admit that this is not
the
most aesthetically
pleasing set up and I could win major brownie
points by replacing
these with 'pictures'.
