Weather Station Stuff

For those of you that managed to get a WMR-918 weather station from
Skyview this little gem will interest you greatly if you also have HV in
particular, but you could probably adapt for other platforms.

I have been using a program called FreeWX for monitoring the conditions
and I wrote to the chap that wrote the software (Andy Keir) after a bit
of discussion on the HV users group about getting the weather info from
FreeWX into HV. He has assured me that the program, on its next release,
will include a .CSV file that can be imported into HV using the
HVConfig.txt file to give all the info needed in HV.

So all systems go for HV being able to tell if it's raining or not!

The weather station came from www.skyview.co.uk

FreeWX is available from Andy Keir's site at
http://home.iprimus.com.au/andykeir/freewx.html

I hope this helps someone.

K.
