Yes, the new A10 dimmer solves any issues I have with X10 as it stands
and if you can I would hold out for them as you will get status response

For me the issue then becomes the cost of replacing the LD11's with the
A10 modules which will not be a cheap exercise but I will do it where I
feel I need status. However, that said, using HV it is not absolutely
essential to have a status response as I have found HV to be extremely
good at tracking the status of the lights/appliances so far, especially
if you spend the time figuring out how to program the schedule to suit
your setup.
