RE: On Dogy boxes

Without wanting to sabotage your thread I have a question about ondodgy
boxes as well.  I brought a prepaid ondodgy box about 18 months ago an= d
after about 2 months it just stopped working.  no channels get display= ed
except a little red square.  I phoned the support line and they sugges= ted I
wasnt getting a decent signal.  Ive since moved twice and both times o= n good
quality dedicated tv ariels it still nevers get above about 5% on the signa= l
strength bar in the menus.  Im guessing a download to the box might ha= ve
screwed it up.  Given I doubt there is any kind of support now does an= yone
have any ideas how I might be able to get the box back up and running?
Having just purchased a tivo getting terrestrial channels in digital format=
would be great!

Thanks in advance

kieran

Subject: [ukha_d] On Dogy boxes

I am about to invest in a second On Dogy box for upstairs and I am
looking for recommendations. I currently have a Nokia box which has
left me unimpressed. It locks up frequently, channel switching is
very slow. I was wondering if any of the other boxes out there (pace,
Phillips etc.) are any better. My local Curry's in addition to a
stock of new boxes at =A379.99 has several customer returns at =A350.

The Thompson 28" with free Tivo offer for =A3599 is still on.

Talking to one of the salesman if a price ends in 97pence then the
item is being discontinued (maybe worth knowing for the future.

Box recommendations please.
