I built a new machine for a mate of mine last week, using an A7V333 with a
AthlonXP 2000+ processor. The only difference, I think, is I used Crucial
PC2100 memory. Mine booted first time and goes like a rocket (no problems
yet!). Are you sure the CPU and the memory are OK?
If you can, swap them over with a PC that is currently working.
The other thing to check is that the AGP  card is properly inserted, which
can give the appearance of a dead machine. Yes, I know this sounds a bit
lame and it looks like it's inserted properly, but take it out, give it
clean and stick it back in and make sure it's firmly seated, if it still
doesn't work try it a couple more times. This has throw me before.

HTH.

Can anyone please help ?
I bought an asus a7v333 mobo,  PC2700 memory and cpu from scan
There was problems with the motherboard and ASUS had recalled them so
I got a refund from scan for the mobo and cpu
I then bought the mobo from aria and cpu
I used the pc2700 scan supplied.

The mobo did nothing. No cpu no warning messages nothing.
I sent to aria and they said it works fine for them and
They sent it me back.
Now I tried again and still there is a problem.
If take the mem out it complains that the memory
is not installed. I put the mem back and I take out the vga and it gives
me no Warning to say the vga has been removed.

Now is there a memory compatibility problem with this
Mobo. No one is owning up, not asus not aria and not scan.
