you will have a router and 2 wap's connected.

Basically all the network traffic from one WAP to the router will be sent to
the other WAP if you use a hub.

Very little difference in price, just trust me ;)

But if the network is ONLY wireless (which it is) how does the switch know
what it connected to what port (or am I talking nonsense?)

Tim,

With a hub, every packet is sent to every port, with a switch, only the
packets destined for each port are seen by each port. ( Not technnically,
but basically it cuts down unnecessary traffic, which you want on a wireless
net.)


Splitter = filter, understand now :)
