just got this from Rich from homeseer

------------------------------------------------------------

It looks like it should. It does not use distcintive ring like the phone
switch did, so that is not an issue. No one I know has actually tried it
in the UK yet, but if it doesn't work for you, you can send it back.

Regards,

-Rich

I have already talked to Rich at homeseer about this, with the response
      being:

      Hello,

I am not sure which one will work. We will be offering a new voice device
called the Way2Call Hi-Phone. It may work on your system. The web page is at
      www.way2call.com

      Regards,

Just seen the details of the new "Way2Call Hi-Phone Desktop USB" device over
      at http://www.homeseer.com/hiphone.htm

It's a bit pricey at $239, and there's no mention of compatability with UK
CID, but the feature list looks excellent.

If the UK compatability issue could be assured, this would be a great choice
for Homeseer/phone integration, and reliable caller ID detection..
