Plus and minus voltage can be a conceptual thing. If you think of a good old PP3 9 volt battery - 9 volts most of the time. But, add in some clever gizmos and take your ground reference from the middle of the voltage range and suddenly you have plus and minus 4.5 volts. Simple?
 
Confused? same as the rest of us most of the time!!

I need help, I brought the LEM Current Transducer as recommended by the group - Thanks.
 
However wiring help please. It has +15 volts, - 15 volts, output and 0 volts.
 
I am currently not getting anything out of it, can anyone help?
 
i.e. what do I wire to what? I have never understood -15 volts
