Appologies, I misread the question...
 
...you do need to isolate the inputs though as they will double terminate each other howerver you obviously *DON'T* want a distribution amp in this case (it's been a long day!)
 
You need some form of input switch which I'm sure I've seen mechanical ones available with S-Video connectors...

There's a good reason *NOT* to do this ... you will end up with a double terminated video signal and that will alter the signal levels (your picture will appear darker) ... use an active (powered) video distribution amplifier.

is there such a thing called a y-s-video cable ?
i have one s-video input my projector and i want
put my playsation as well as the sat output in there.
i don't really want a switcher.
