Kenlowe produce fans for car radiators - you can get them to retrofit and
they have an adjustable thermostat (a dial). Some of the larger fans are
switched via a relay, but it's all still 12V. I would've thought you could
buy just the thermostat assy. by itself.

some sort of thermostat? must be able to get ones that will switch
low voltages and then I guess you just stick it between the fans and
the power supply.
