Davis Rain Gauge

My Davis rain gauge just arrived, looks a bit scratched in places though.
Anyway I opened it up and the mechanism is just a read switch which gets
activated by a magnet on the tip balance arm.  So should fit directly on to
a HV port B and have some code to count the swigs.  I'll be trying it out
at the weekend.

Also in the box was a Davis Temperature/Humidity Module not sure if this is
a mistake but makes up for the scratched rain gauge.  Does anyone know how
I might integrate this without a Davis Weather Station.  The output seemed
to be 6 wires presumably 2 for power and 2 each for humidity and
temperature but I can't find any details of the protocol anywhere.  I did
open it up but there are no labels on the PCB.

S.
