Oh yes, definitely! Standard policy for any visiting engineer of any
variety over here. I figure it helps get a really pukka job done.

They've also been appreciative of the fact that I generally know the
score so I don't go reading the riot act to them. Now, on the other
hand, had they been unable to provide the service, I'd have been
calling the main office and politely, but firmly, venting my
frustration of course.
