Hi Bill,

This is pretty much the same idea that I wanted to do with my Rios
except instead of streaming the radio, I wanted to copy one of the
streams going to a Rio from JRec.

Out of interest, how exactly does your setup work?

Does your FM receiver software feed into shoutcast or do you have to do
some jiggery-pokery?

Good Stuff,
-Dan

SHMBO wasn't too impressed with the RIO's because she couldn't get
the standard FM radio station she liked. With only a dial-up modem
for internet access i had to find another way. Mark McCall gave me
the pointer from an earlier post to use Shoutcast. So last night i
put in an old FM Card i got on ebay (reveal 300) and using shoutcast
i can stream this via Jreceiver to the rio's. Excellent.

Next step tonight is:

Use Shoutcast to stream to all rio's around the house, either the
radio or some other mp3 playlist i have, and if i select the same
playlist on all the rio's, i have whole house audio.
Someone on the Jreceiver group has already reported no sync problems
when streaming to his two rio's

Next step after this is :

Get homeseer evemts and phone messages sent to the rio's

Next step .....and on and on and on and on....
