Tim,

Try Robert Whyte’s in Glasgow for the Panasonic if that’s what you want as he was doing deals on then IIRC.

Forget the paper specs unless you want to use it as a PC monitor. The speakers aren’t great – similar quality to speakers that come with a domestic telly – I don’t use them though, I use my AV amp. I don’t have a tuner, as all reports I’ve seen is that it is a pile of crap. I use Sky digital as my tuner, connected via svideo.

I was going to ask the exact same question. I actually think that the
3.5K price tag will have a higher WAF than me getting a normal TV
that consumes so much floor space. As I wrote last week, I need
something to be used in place of the projector for normal TV viewing.

But what about speakers and tuner, how much would they add to the
price (although I could use AV amp and Tivo/Video at a pinch).

Also, does resolution matter? Looking at the ivojo site it seems that
some are 1024 x 1024 (which doesn't seem right) and others are 852 x
480.

Regards

Graham
