RE: Bedroom telly

Thanks, I’ll save that one for future reference. Of course the other option is to buy a 50” for the sitting room, and put the 42” up in the bedroom J

Tim,

I've got a 20" Sony w/s - about GBP 450 3-4 years ago (can't remember exactly when). 1x SCART, 1x S-video, Composite plus L & R audio in. Currently sits in the lounge connected to Sky digibox via SCART - pretty good picture quality. I don't have the model number to hand but can look it up if interested. It's not really in the "portable" league but it's not _that_ heavy.

We also saw a 16" Sony w/s when we were looking for not that much less money. Was a very small screen tho' at 16" w/s.

HTH,

Tim H.

I’m still in the process of putting together a wiring plan. I have been looking at the Panasonic 22” LCD, but just can’t stomach the 1800 quid for something that is the same height as a 17” portable, especially now the 42” plasmas are now down to 3 and a half grand now at ivojo!

The total distance between the Sky box and the bedroom telly point is 10m, so I’m going to get the sparks to put an RGB capable cable in the bedroom.

Can anyone suggest a sensibly priced telly for the bedroom (preferably widescreen) that isn’t too heavy to be wall mounted?

Tim
