Mark's hit the nail on the head, what you're looking for is EXACTLY the sort of thing we can do.

 

On alert we send text, email and phone message to your nominated contacts (you, next door neighbour, local security officer, etc) after the system automatically checks the property for false alarms. Then you and your (informed) friends and neighbours can take action by calling the police, etc. In the UK, we also have a deal with Securicor so that a First Response Officer can be despatched to your property. You can subscribe to different protectin levels according to your needs.

 

Alerts can be burglary, panic attack or fire, and with further sensors installed can be flood, power failure, etc, etc, etc...

Homewather, Gotcha and Web-Cam-Control centre all provides this kind of motion detection functionality + email, alarm etc etc , although I don't think any of them are really suited to 'lights off' operation for any length of time.

Hi,

Im after some advice we have holiday home in spain that keeps getting
broken into.  This is what we want to do, can anybody recommend how to do
this?

Holiday needs outside camera that detects movement and publishs pictures
to internet, also can sound an alarm of some sort.  Inside eqip with pir that
sound alarms bells and sends signal via email.
