I don't mind paying £20 more for better quality, but I really hate looking stupid and paying more for nothing.

Maybe it's not bad idea to order 5 (lower quality) units from the other source, just to compare, but now when they know what is that about, they may send you 5 best ones they have and keep the worse for the main shipment.

However, if they send you 5 crap ones, then you can eliminate them and order "excellent" ones.

I have no smart suggestion.

I've now spoken to three different places to supply these - currently I've
been conversing with PositiveSale.com. I have just spoken to Buck at
www.cpetc.com, and he suggests that ALL of these units are coming direct
from Fujitsu - and are of the same quality.

Now, I've got 5 units to come from positivesale.com, and I can actually
take a look there and then. It also seems that the postivesales people may
be in fact 1 guy on his own, and a young en at that

I've spoken to the original people (featuremarketing) - they have 1700 of
these and reckon everyone is getting the units from themselves - but are
ALL of the same quality. He laughed at the idea of "excellent" quality
units.


SO....I'll get the 5 units in I've ordered from positivesale as a reference
- but the question is, should we then really go for the cheaper units ? who
do we believe ? I could also get another 5 units from featuremarketing,
again as a reference and compare the two sets.

Would anyone mind if I started collating the monies on a "worst case"
scenario - ie costs of units + $20 / shipping (+duties, etc). Any monies
would be refunded as a chq WITH the shipped units.
