Nope, because I run a peer-peer network J

The only reason I mention it, is that I’m meeting with my mate soon who does custom HA installs. I’ll ask him what he thinks the potential is of both options in a more commercial environment (rather than just selling to sad geeks like us J)

Is it possible to engineer the units with a power supply on the PCB? That’s what John Sim does with his RGB

Agreed  .... I hate wall warts too and I've mentioned this to Keith before ... however the issue of CE certification then comes into play here. Legally you shouldn't sell non-CE approved devices for use within the EU and CE approval comes expensive especially at this stage when development is still being done. Selling the KAT5 with an external power supply just makes it all easier for Keith and it means that I can power multiple KAT5 units that are behind my AV rack from one wart!

Would it be possible to build them so they will fit into a double wall box – again that smacks of a far neater

Again .... I have discussed this with Keith before about making single and double wall box sized versions and it's just a case of making up appropriately sized PCBs (at an additional development cost).

Only suggestions, you can do with them what you will, but both of these would actually persuade me to put at

Don't you have a run already between your PC and your wireless LAN AP? *grin*
