Can someone explain how cat 5 inside 40mm plastic waste pipe, buried
12"
under could be struck by lightning. Wouldn't this require a direct hit
to 'burn' through the waste pipe before it hit the cat 5 'conductors'.
If this is the case then the liklehood of it happening is probably lower
than winning the lottery. I'm pretty happy at those odds. Law of
diminishing returns applies.
