I am hoping someone can help me... I have an old Pace Sky Analog box, which has developed a very high whine coming from the circuit board. I have opened the unit, and touched a number of components to try and find the culprit...to no avail...

Knowing a lot of this group has electronic experience can anyone advise possible sources for this noise...before I have to try touching every single soldered joint....I must remember and use a plastic probe.. I just blew the main fuse by quickly using elecky screwdriver and my shay hands.

I still like the analog for German MTV 2 which I think is by far better than MTV on ITV digital...I will convince SWMBO... to let me get sky...

A bit of Advise...Don't re-programme and reset Comfort at night....especially if your wife put it on night mode without telling you, even though she knew i was working on it. I'm sure the neighbours will have some comments tomorrow....Lucky it wasn't late only 11:30, usually it's about 2-3am I'm mucking about....:-)

thanks in advance

Campbell
