They'll "fix" your problems and keep you to the contract...
....to be honest you have signed up for 12 months and that's that. I'm in
the same situation with my BT Surftime/ISDN account in that I'm tied in
for a year no metter what.

But as has been pointed out that's not likely as the upgrade would be to
wires only...
