Just to keep those interested up to date (and give every one a break from
ukfujitsu <g>), the discussion period for the new newsgroup has
passed
without incident. Yay!
The next stage is Fast Track. For those unfamiliar with the concept, it
basically means once the committee decides to post notice of it, the
newsgroup should be created within 5 days of the notice. I do know that the
request for Fast Track has arrived at the committee, but have yet to see
the
notice on Usenet so this does not necessarily mean 5 days from today.
I will let eveyone know when there is more progress. So far so good :)
