I have HH going into a router, which then acts as an 'on demand' connection
>from
redialled as soon as the 2 hour Anytime limit hit & I got
disconnected...
but BT Internet were a bit unhappy about this, so now I dial on demand.

On average, there are about 300 calls / day to BT Internet based on the
'dial on demand'. Since call setup times with HH are very fast, I tend not
to notice the fact that the connection has dropped in between times.

Hi All,

Sorry for another off topic post but it will be used for my HA system too
:o)

Is BT's home highway worth me getting installed?

I am well outwith any ADSL catchment area being about 25 miles NW of
Aberdeen and the only other solution is a broadband satellite setup and
this
is too expensive for installation.

I am looking at the USB connection with Windows XP Pro. Is this just as
quick as using an ISDN TA?

Regards
Dave...
