I'll go out on a limb here, and guess that EVERY single one of these from
all suppliers has come from the same source, which seems to be from KIOSK's
which have been upgraded/dismantled. They will have had a hard life, I
would
rather go for one in excellent condition that has no visible marks on the
screen, than take pot luck :)

Just a coupe of things about good vs. excellent.

one site has excellent or good....the other site has no choice.

There is no saying that the excellent on site A are better (or even as good
as ) the no choice ones on site B.

With devices of this type it is very much the environment they have been
used in which will decide the condition. If it is a office type environment
then no real problems it is light or heavy industrial then they may be a
bit
bashed. Worse would be some sort of engineering environment where the
things
have oil ingrained into them!

Unless Gareth has been given some idea of what Excellent vs Good vs No
choice are in quality terms then we are shooting in the dark and may end up
paying more for less quality.

We have 2 choices - do we have the cheaper models from FeatureMarketing (at
$around $80) or the better quality (so they say, in "excellent"
condition)
units at around $100 from PositiveSale.

Anyone know of a good online voting system ?!!

Also, maybe I'll run a competition - buy another couple of units to give
away :-) I'm not in it for the money, but looking at the logistics
involved,
this means I'll have to take some time out from work (ie a few days) to
sort
them out once in the UK.
