Crikey - you STARTED on Windows...

My first Home Access with in DOS, with the Demon-provided menu system
for things like USENET and telnet. I remember getting to grips with, in,
I think, order:

- Trumpet Winsock (for Windows 3.1)
- SunOS 4.1.1 on an old Sun 4!
- Microsoft Wolverine (MS TCP/IP Beta for Windows 3.11 on NDIS drivers)
- Microsoft Wolverine (MS TCP/IP Beta for Windows 3.11 on ODI drivers)
- Win 95, with the re-written IP stack that worked
- Red Hat
- Win 98 SE
- Win NT4.0
- Suse 6
- Win 2k
- Suse 7

To be fair, not all of these were on dial-ups originally, but all have
been at some point (apart from the Sun 4!)

Showing your age there Mark ;-)

I started with a 9600K on Win 3.11 and now use HH just because I can't
get bloody cable or ADSL :-(
