Well strictly speaking I have a combined router, AP and network hub the
Linksys BEFW11S4 but I believe the AP part has the same components as the
straight Linksys AP. I just have it running with the two aerials on the
back no modification at all.
I'll take a stroll down the garden tonight for you.

A range test would be excellent, I have the Linksys AP also, so even
better.
Have you done the Modification to the AP to increase the signal strength?
