Not really ... the 'Pods are WinCE and hence "instant on" whereas the PT510s are Win95/98. The 'Pods have no moving parts and are silent in operation whereas the PT510s have a hard disc and probably make a reasonable amount of noise.

The PT510 does have a larger and higher resolution screen though (unfortunately only 256 colours).

I bet it still looks ugly with a wireless LAN card poking out of it!
