I hope the message that got back to them was 'your stuff is too
fu*king expensive' - especially for your ordinary guy/gal on the
street.. Why should they pay 40 quid for a light switch? especially
when normal ones are at most a tenth of that. If X10 Europe want a
bigger market they have to reduce the costs ... in my opinion we are
paying for all the work they did originally and X10 Europe are
basically taking the pi*s.

Quite frankly there is no reason that prices shouldn't be the same as
the US. If you look at Ido Bartana's site you'll see that the changes

testing and all that but they have to look to the future... times are
getting hard for everyone, X10 is a luxury, and luxuries are one of
the first things to go when money is tight. When I say luxury, in
this context I'm not talking ya posh frock type of thing I'm talking
about the fact that it's basically a light/device switch.. everyone
has to have them but if it's the difference between 40 quid and a 2
quid you know what will happen...

..... oh dear, I think I went into a bit of a rant... :O
