Yes although watch the type of cable you want there are two types of connector 6 pin and 4 pin.
 
Although if you have a firewire interface card in your PC then you can import the DV onto disc, edit it and add effects tittles etc, then output it to another DV tape with zero generational loss.
 
Given the price of cheap firewire cards and disc space if you already have a decent PC then you might want to look at the PC Option

Does anyone know if it is possible using two DV Camcorders to copy from one tape to another ?? Would I just need a DV - DV cable, press play on one and record on the other ????
