The IR extender does do composite video and stereo audio as well as IR.
 
the AVstar looks like the switcher :) (hint hint Keith ;)

Is it not the AVstar was describing??  The IR extender doesnt extend Video & stereo as well.  Now Im confused!! ;-)
 
Agreed on the price though.  Looks like the IPHomenet system.

Thats the avstar, not the IR extender.
 
 
I think there might be an order of magnitude difference in price :)
