Right ... Have just spoken with Fast24 and this is what I've been told:
Their service is not to be regarded as an "always on" service -
however,
although they would not condone being connected for 7 days using both
ISDN channels they also at the moment have no problems with someone
doing so. They claim that up to now they have never contacted a customer
to complain about usage and they have never terminated an account and
that they have no plans whatsoever to do so.
They have assured me that 16 hours a day usage would certainly not raise
any comment from them.
I have now subscribed with Fast24 for the princely sum of =A3166 a year -
which is =A313.88 or thereabouts per month which doesn't seem at all bad.
Apparently it takes 2-3 days for them to set up the "freephone"
account
but given that it's going to take a while to cancel my V21 account then
I'm not too worried.=20
