Re: OT : Printers...

Title: Message
US based www.fixyourownprinter.com helped me correct a problem I was having with paper feed on about 10 printers at work - You get the parts and a cd with a video on of how to fix them for about £20 (in my case)  They seem to specialise in design flaws.  Of course once you get that you can then source uk based parts if it ever goes again.

Nothing to do with Mike though.. (I assume...)

Bloody hell.

LetAutomate and Bits 'N' PC's - does Mike run any other 'useful' companies like this?

To finish off...

Have just got off the phone with a company called Bits 'N' PC's (www.bnpcs.com) which is run by Mike Huggins and which happens to be a (possibly *THE* given the amount of parts they seem to have off the shelf) main dealer for HP spare parts ... they do online ordering and there is a link to HPs "Parts Browser" which meant that I could visually locate the assembly that I needed.

Turns out that £42 + VAT will source me the entire pump assembly complete with ink cartridge receiver, motor, control PCB, sensors etc.

Cool...

Phil
